Writing Fiction: a Sense of Place

  • Butser Ancient Farm Chalton Lane Hampshire, PO8 0BG United Kingdom (map)

In this session with creative writing professors and novelists Jem Poster and Sarah Burton, we’ll discuss the importance of place in fiction-writing, addressing such matters as factual research, remembered and imagined spaces and the creation of atmosphere.

The session will be informal, aimed at anyone with an interest in writing, and allowing plenty of time for participants to put questions to the speakers afterwards!
