About Caroline’s work:
Million-selling author Caroline Lawrence is a former primary school teacher who has been writing books for over 25 years. Mainly known for her best-selling Roman Mysteries, televised by the BBC in 2007 and 2008, she has now written over forty books for children, YA and adults, mainly historical fiction but also non-fiction including her popular “How to Write a Great Story”. Her Roman Quests series of books were partly inspired by Butser Ancient Farm and the second in the series, The Archers of Isca, is dedicated to the directors, staff and volunteers of Butser.
