A spell-binding evening of Celtic harp music!

An entrancing evening of Celtic harp music in the unforgettable setting of our Little Woodbury Iron Age roundhouse. Internationally-renowned harpist Harriet Earis will be returning to perform a spellbinding concert of jigs, reels and airs as well as some early medieval Welsh harp music and a taste of some 6th-9th century poetry.

Harriet has performed solo in the Royal Albert Hall and the 02 Arena in London and gives recitals all over Europe and America. This is a unique chance to hear her virtuosic brand of harp music in the intimate setting of our roundhouse. Indulge your senses and unwind in the company of friends and music lovers at this unforgettable event.

Prepare to be transported back in time…

Harriet is a fluent Welsh speaker and has a degree in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic Studies from Trinity College, Cambridge. She will also be giving a workshop on the Language of the Ancient Britons earlier in the day.

FAQs

  • Please dress for the weather with sensible footwear. You may wish to bring a blanket or cushion to make your seat more comfortable. Please bring a torch as it may be dark returning to your car to the end of the event. 

  • Doors open half an hour before the event begins. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes before the event begins to avoid disrupting the performance.

  • Sorry, but we can’t welcome pets to this event, including dogs. Assistance dogs are of course always welcome!

  • Please note this event takes place in a historic building featuring an open fire. Air quality is generally good but we can’t guarantee a lack of smoke.

  • The seating for our events is rustic and includes benches and hay bales. You may wish to bring a blanket or cushion to make your seat more comfortable. We can also add plastic high-backed chairs if required. If you have any specific requests please email hello@butserancientfarm.co.uk

  • There will be a bar at this event and the opportunity to buy hot drinks, snacks, and gifts in our shop. Please don’t bring your own alcohol into the event!

  • This event is not included as general admission for our annual pass holders. This ticket is for access to the timed event only and does not include full admission to the farm.

    Sorry, we can’t offer any refunds on tickets unless the farm needs to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
