(Not) Your Average Day
Guests gather at 1pm by the farm entrance office where they are met by an experienced member of our education team.
After a short briefing they will take part in the two 30-minute activities selected for the party ahead of time from the list.
Following a quick break for the toilet, party guests will be invited behind the rope barrier to share cake and refreshments in the private marble mosaic room of the Roman villa.
The party then moves to an Iron Age roundhouse, where a story from our distant past will be shared around a roaring fire.
Children are taken back to the main gate area for 3.30pm, where the birthday individual is presented with a limited edition Butser poster.
(Any gift bags can be collected at this time from the shop.)
Prices
Butser Birthdays are £17 per child (with a 15 child minimum booking).
A cake is provided, however a discount of £15 is available should you prefer to bring your own.
Half price day tickets to the farm available for families of all guests to use either during the party or to make a whole day of it!

My seven year old and her friends had the most amazing time at her birthday party from start to finish. Josh was brilliant and kept them engaged and entertained throughout. The weather was mixed but it didn't matter one bit. The kids were so happy doing the jewellery making and building a wall using real tools; it was a joy to watch. Cake in the Roman Villa was such a treat and the story telling around the fire was the perfect end to the afternoon. Thoroughly recommended.

My son had an awesome 7th birthday party at Butser ancient farm which he and his friends thoroughly enjoyed! Josh was so welcoming to everyone and ran such fun, well organised activities. The parents that came along to help out agreed that it was one of the most fun birthday parties they’ve gone to in years! Thank you Josh!
