In her only in-person book launch of her new book on ancient art materials 'Drawn From the Wild', Caroline will be sharing stories from years of foraging for historical and ecologically sound art materials in the woods, by the sea shore, in town, and from waste-stream resources.
Looking at illuminated manuscripts as an example, she'll demonstrate traditional quill pens and ink and share some of the colourful raw ochres and semi precious stones that make mediaeval paints. You'll get to look into her sketch and notebooks, used to create the new book and her best-selling book 'Found and Ground'. There'll be time for any questions and for signing copies of both books.
