Join us for the dawn of spring in an Iron Age roundhouse enjoying traditional and original songs and tunes from award winning singer and squeezebox player Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne!

Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne is at the forefront of his generation of English folk musicians as both a powerful and commanding singer and a masterful player of the Anglo concertina and melodeon. Cohen’s music is rooted in the English folk tradition, celebrating the age-old musical heritage of this broad and diverse land.  Traditional ballads, songs and tunes form the basis of Cohen’s material, but with a smattering of early music, ragtime, and music hall thrown in for good measure along with regular forays into the music of the Caribbean.

Since bursting onto the scene in his teens, Cohen has amassed a string of awards and nominations, including a nomination for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Horizon Award in 2018, and has toured extensively across the UK and abroad, both as a soloist and with the much-loved energetic trio Granny’s Attic. Expect traditional songs and tunes along with some self-penned material and a few surprises along the way.

Join Cohen for an evening of folk music to welcome in spring in the beautiful, atmospheric setting of our Great Roundhouse by a glowing hearth.

There will be a bar selling locally produced cider, mead and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Hot drinks and snacks will also be available to be purchased from our shop.
