Net Making and twinning are crucial ancient techniques with multiple uses. This is your chance to develop these historic skills to create something which you can use everyday! Start with an introduction to how this skill changed our history before learning and practicing how to use the technique with support from me to correct any potential errors and hiccups including how to finish the piece. Participants will then use their own water bottle to create a linen removable water bottle cover as well as creating a linen net bag and starting a straight net under the guidance of experimental archaeologist Vanessa Bunton.
