Asking Questions, Finding Stories - a Children's Writing Workshop

  • Butser Ancient Farm Chalton Lane Hampshire, PO8 0BG United Kingdom (map)

Bring your imagination along and discover how touching the past can inspire you to write!

Step into the world of stories with award-winning author Angela McAllister, creator of more than thirty beloved books including The Little Blue Rabbit and Barkus, Sly and the Golden Egg. In this imaginative, hands-on workshop, Angela will guide participants of all ages (10+) to discover how the past can spark fresh, exciting writing.

Angela will bring along a treasure trove of curious, beautiful, and mysterious objects. Each one holds a whisper of a story - a forgotten history waiting to be uncovered. Together, we’ll explore how these objects can transport us through time, inspiring characters, adventures, and even entire worlds.

Whether you’re an experienced writer or simply curious, this workshop is an invitation to unlock your imagination, discover the stories hidden in everyday things, and create something uniquely your own. Come ready to touch the past - and let it inspire your future stories.

1 hour duration.

  • £15 per ticket.

  • * Kids under 14 go free (must be accompanied by paying adult).
