Join us in the Great Roundhouse for a truly unique pop-up cinema experience. As part of our series of film screenings, we will be showing the exquisite and inspiring The Nettle Dress.

Textile artist Allan Brown spends seven years making a dress by hand just from the fibre of locally foraged stinging nettles. This is ‘hedgerow couture’, the greenest of slow fashion and also his medicine. It's how he survives the death of his wife and finds a beautiful way to honour her. A modern-day fairytale and hymn to the healing power of nature and slow craft.

A feature documentary by Dylan Howitt woven by tragedy, magic and love.

There will be a bar selling locally produced mead, cider and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Hot drinks and snacks will also be available to be purchased from our shop.
