Butser Ancient Farm offers free and discounted entry to a range of visitors. These discounts are only valid for day admission and do not apply to other events or workshops.
carers
Registered carers of disabled adults are entitled to free entry. Simply select the ‘Visitor with Carer’ ticket option. If you have proof of your carer status, please being it along with you.
Children under 16 may not enter the site unaccompanied, though carers of disabled children can get discounted entry. Select the ‘Visitor with Carer’ ticket option to receive a 60% discount on buying your ticket separately.
The ‘Visitor with Carer’ ticket entitles both you and the person you care for to enter.
annual passholders
Annual passholders receive a full year of free entrance to the farm — and it pays for itself in under three trips!
Simply select the ‘Annual Passholder’ ticket option, and enter your Pass ID on the checkout screen. Remember to bring your pass along with you when you visit!

If you’re a teacher visiting Butser in advance of bringing a school trip here, you can get your entrance ticket for free.

English Heritage members can enjoy a 25% discount on tickets for themselves and anyone they bring with them.

If your child has earned their Blue Peter badge, they can get their entry ticket for free (when bought with a full-paying adult). Up to two Blue Peter badgeholders can enter for free per paying adult.

Where do I Put the code to use it?
Visit our ticket booking site and select your tickets as normal, including any tickets you will be getting discounted. When you’re ready, head to your basket. Before you click ‘Checkout’, find the discount code box — it will either be on the right of the screen opposite your tickets, or just below your tickets when you scroll down. Enter the code exactly as it appears on this page and hit ‘Apply’!
The code isn’t working!
Oh no! Here’s some things to try:
Make sure you’ve copied the code exactly as it appears on this page. No spaces, all capital letters, any numbers etc.
Some discounts are only valid if you’re buying full-price tickets at the same time. Check your discount above to see if that’s the case!
There are two boxes on the basket page; make sure you’re putting the code in the discount box and not the gift voucher box!
Make sure you’re on the basket page. If you’re in the checkout entering details like your email address, you’ve gone too far! If you’re still on a page selecting tickets or a visiting date, you’ve not gone far enough!
These discount codes only apply to day admission. If you’re trying to use any of these codes on tickets to a workshop, day camp, festival, storytelling, or other event outside of day admission, unfortunately the discount won’t be valid.
