Walk and Draw day - creative sketching

Explore the landscape around Butser Ancient farm and sketch your journey as you go.

This guided walk will begin and end at Butser Ancient Farm, with time in the afternoon to experience the farm and its buildings. We will use a car shuffle to get to the start of the walk. The walk will be about 5 miles and will include some hills.

No sketching experience is needed as your guide with help you find your own way to draw what you see on the walk. Sketchbook and pencil provided – but bring your own if you wish. Also bring water, snacks and a picnic lunch.

Complete a series of sketches and quick studies, building your understanding of dynamic marking methods and exploring different techniques in creativity and expressiveness to find a style that you enjoy.
