16 July to 23rd July
as we approach the end of term we are quieter with schools – a perfect time to visit for a peaceful wander around the farm before the summer holidays.
We’re also busy getting ready for our summer of science and sorcery which kicks off with the festival of archaeology on the 24th July.
Our Mosaic project is also getting underway, find out more on our mosaic blog here.
This weekend The Saxons from Herigeas Hundas will be joining us demonstrating fighting, crafts and cooking. We’ve got blacksmithing and bronze casting workshops and on Saturday a family of celts will be bringing to life our Iron Age enclosure!
