We’re looking forward to a cracking 🐣 Easter weekend at Butser Ancient Farm! We’re now open 10am-5pm every day.
Meet our lambs, goats and pigs on Good Friday, then on Saturday you can have a go at archaeology and braiding, plus watch a real thatching demonstration.
On Easter Sunday and Monday we will also have our fearsome Roman Legion on site! Have a go at learning Latin, try on Roman armour and hold a real gladius sword!
You can also try wattling, chalk crushing, mosaic making and Stone Age painting all weekend, plus the chance to crack our mysterious Easter riddle trail through prehistory…
There’s lots to see and do – see you there! 🐇
